I'm trying to determine the real-world value of a Ruger Mark II, Standard, .22 cal, stainless, 4.5-in barrel. I have the original molded case, owner's manual, trigger lock, two Ruger 10-rnd magazines, and a few other extras worth about $25. The 26th Edition of the BBoGV shows $215 for 98% condition, which I believe it to be. A local gun store said they'd put it on consignment at $295, but they take a 20% commission on whatever price they sell it for. Rather than "donate" $60 to them, I'm thinking I should price it at $255 for a FTF sale. Is that a fair price, or am I aiming too high?

That is a fair price-especially in Stainless. How many rounds through it?

that gun in that condition would easily sell at 255 around here 265 or 270 would be closer to what people would ask.

there are a lot of folks, like me, that dont like the mark III and would rather have a mark II

I have had both and like the MKIII better because of the magazine release. My MKII had almost a 12'' barrel and was a bit unweildly.

  6. i think anywhere around the three hundred dollar mark would be about right.i know they dont make the mark ll any more and they are now at a premium.i just spent 300.00 for a bull barrel mark ll with a burris scope and mount so your pricing at 265.00 area should be right . old semperfi

Vision problems have severely limited my range time for about five or six years, so I'm guessing it's probably less than 100 rounds.

I am thinking your a little low on that price. I'd start at 280, ya can always go down. MK II in stainless, both good selling points.

Re: SOLD--What's A Fair Price For A Ruger Mark II?

:D Advertised it on a local Buy/Sell/Trade radio program, and sold it for $275.

Thats $20 more than what you were asking. Good deal all around-you and the buyer.
