Being a cheapskate myself...learned a few things over the years.
TASCO sux. I have yet to own one that has held zero.
Went from using them as trade bait to just throwing them away...
hate to pass on that level of crappiness.
30 years of firearms purchases...and they always fail.
CenterPoint. Useful. Have one singular headache known as Locking Adjusters...
as long as you remember to Unlock, then Adjust, then Lock, you are fine.
If you EVER forget, you break the plastic adjusters and it will never hold zero until repaired.
It then must be sent back to the factory for a $20 repair, where they pull it apart
& replace the adjusters.
Why do you pay? Because its yer own dang fault, Probie! *Gibbs-smack*
I've got two currently, for over five years, no issues thusfar.
Much love for the lighted red/green reticle...usually set on Green, less fuzz-out.
Leupold. L is Love that comes with a pricetag
Nikon. Even better love...but prices are high. One rests on my 922M...Yummy!
Bushnell/Simmons/Redhead can be hit or miss, mostly hit. Just don't drop 'em.
Dang sure don't buy 'em USED unless you can try before you buy, or a great return policy.
Must admit to great love for my Simmons Black Diamond!! But it ain't no Nikon...
