What's a "Race" gun...?...

    That's a semi-auto version. They have revolver race guns, too. He might have meant a .38 Super, probably. That's a very popular caliber for race guns.

    Sg race guns have a very light trigger pull ,sometimes 1.5 pounds ,and cycle much faster

    Actually, a "race gun" is sorta like a "race car".....it can range from a Formula One car or top fuel dragster down to a slightly warmed over street car used for the occasional "stop-light grand prix".

    In short, any modified gun you compete with.....ranging from "very slightly" to "very much" modified.
