Gonna hold off on the guns for a while(unless somethin' just really jumps out at me,that is. ).I do need a bi-pod and a sling for the NEF .223 though.
Also lookin' for a lens shade for the Tasco 6x24 scope it's wearin'.It's not threaded,so I thought maybe someone makes a universal,slip-on type, but so far no luck. :(
Just gonna try to get some loose ends tied up and get ready for Spring turkey season.

    M1 Garand, I swear!

Though a buddy at the shop bought a consignment Bernadelli SXS 12ga basically NIB for $300!!! I told him that he really wanted to sell it to me for that price. The gun is easily worth $800 to $900 around these parts.

I'd love to get an M1A. Going to have to do quite a bit of saving for that though... :(

I'm having a .300 Win Mag A.I. built. Then I plan on picking up a Sako TRG 42 chambered in .338 Lapua.

As for hanguns, probably a Kahr S.S. in .40 S&W, for summer time carry. :)

I have been buying different grips, Mags etc. for the firearms I already own.
My next project is building up another Home Defense Shotgun. I have the receiver and barrel....Need to find a good composite stock with pistol grip and a mag. extension to finish it off...

After I get through eating this crow I'll be buying a Glock.

Here's the short story behind that. A buddy, that I shoot competition with, and I had a bet one night, and yes alcohol was involved. Anyway, the loser had to shoot the next scheduled match with the gun of the winners choosing. Well, I lost. Now I have never been a Glock fan. I never bashed them or anything, just not a fan. Well, I may have thrown around a "lethal tupperware" comment or two, but nothing real serious. My buddy knowing my feelings about Glocks handed me his Glock 22 40 cal. about 10 minutes before the match started. So, I shot the match with that gun and ended up doing very well. I was very impressed with the Glock and how it ran. Smooth as silk and extremely accurate. That sold me on Glocks. I may even name my next son Gaston.

As soon as the match was over I had leave to make another engagement, I kept the Glock with me. My buddy was calling my cell phone all night. When I finally answered his call he said, "Hey, you forgot to give me my Glock back". I just said, "no I did'nt forget", and just hung up.

So, fire up the grill baby, we're having BBQ'ed crow tonight :D

Are at the top of the list. However it will take me at least 2 years to figure out how I will be able to bring it home. :D

Probably the new bushmaster carbon-15, a nice pool cue, and a browning shotgun. Maybe not in that order though.

Looking for a Ruger Red Label in 28ga. has to be the 50th Anniv. or engraved model. Problem is that everyone wants to get more than wholesale for used ones. I'll keep looking, patience paid off for my 12 and 20. I make every attempt not to buy anything else till I find my baby 28. I fell in love with that engraved model.

3gunner, That sounds a lot like my story. I never liked plastic guns and I prefer my firearms to have hammers, but I was at the range with a friend of mine that shoots competitively. He pulled out a Glock 17 and asked if I wanted to fire it. "What the heck" I figure, and away I go. A few minutes later, I owned my first Glock. Now I have three. I have a Glock model 17 for sale. PM is on it's way to you.

Mr. Blasty...I've got a Glock 17 for sale if you want it. It's the best firing handgun I've ever owned. There is a listing on the Buy/Sell/Trade forum.

I'm really waffling - can't do them all, but will be doing some subset of the following -

39A- pref straight stock old model without the extra safety
    Springfield SOCOM
Old 12Ga SxS - Fox, Smith, or Win 21...
    STEN
CQB or TRS 1911 as per post on the 1911 section
