although I don't really need either which should I get next? a revolver or a compact semiauto? I'll cover make, model, and caliber later. keep in mind occasionally they have an early handgun season here but on the other hand a compact would conceal better than my 92a1
Art Deco .32 Automatics, what an interesting term/category. Do they fall into the category of pistols we'd associate with the likes of Peter Lorre, Sydney Greenstreet, Erich von Stroheim, or perhaps William Powell in The Thin Man?
Hmm...what's next? Decisions, decisions. Well, let's see now, we have two pre-2005 Ruger Vaqueros in .45 Colt, a 4 5/8" and 7 1/2" barrel, so we really do need a 5 1/2" to complete the set. And then of course there are the Bisley variations to consider, as well as 44/40s. On second thought, before going off the deep end on this I think we'll invest in an additional safe.
I was at scheels tonight (looking for primers) and started drooling over an SP101 .357 for a fair price. new if I'm not mistaken. at a pawn shop during lunch I saw a Vaquero with a rough looking case hardened finish. don't remember caliber though. I am leaning more towards an SP101 in .357 with blued finish but I want a longer barrel. I know a guy who leans towards them a bit.
I don't know about Erich - I can't pull up a pic of him with a gun, from my mind full of useless info.
But Peter Lorre pops to mind either with a Colt 1908 25 auto (Falcon) or a Pocket Positive 32 NP(Casablanca), while Nick Charles carried a Dick Special.
The thought that came to my mind was stuff like this, simply because of the logo designs.

Neat pistols indeed. The lady of the house inherited her late father's FN Model 1900 .32, and will be bringing it up from the lower 48 probably in March. I have a neat little Browning Model 1910/55 .32 - no idea why I bought it other than I liked the way it looked and handled.
def revolver,357 and up depending on what you can handle.if your talking about an early handgun season most states are 357 and up to be legal.the average semi auto is not powerful enough for larger animals. old semperfi
If you havent got one, everyone needs a revolver!!!
Like old semperfi is saying, you can hunt with them as well as long the revolver fails in the state guidelines.
(multi-purpose)!
I like guns that shoot big bullets, .44, or .45. I do want another 1911 .45, but I also want another .44spcl revolver! And at this point in time I don't have enough money for either!
