Here I was, chores done, workout done, just settled in for a day on TFF, when the Mrs. turned off Fox news and said "Let's go to town." "OK", I said, with somewhat less than great enthusiasm. "We need some groceries" "OK", with no increase in enthusiasm. "And we can go to Crown of East for lunch" "OK" - a bit more enthusiasm now, as I do love to eat, and this is a GREAT place. "And then lets go and buy that Glock you have been drooling over" "OKAY!!" HUGE enthusiasm now! I barely remembered to shut the computer down in my mad dash for the door - And THEN what happened? We went to every gun shop in Clarksville - ALL were sold out of the Glock 17 - One had a used Glock 23 which made me stop and consider a slightly more compact weapon. But EVERYONE was SOLD OUT of Glock 17's and 19's. ONE guy had a nice .40, but he was JUST over the state line and could not sell it to me - I am calling shops in another city today to see what I can find. Man, this upcomming election is causing a BOOM in the firearms business, it seems - Wanna kill these ads? We can help!
