Just a general question while I am watching tv. Just how rare are the Winny 1894 25-35? I have one that was born in 1914 and it is good shape. I will post a photo or three later. Oh and it does have a saddle ring. Thanks . . .

    Hello,

The Model 1894 in 25-35 WCF is not rare at all, though they are considerably less common than those in 30 WCF and 32 WS.

Winchester introduced the 25-35 WCF in the year 1895 (along with the 30 WCF), and they discontinued it in the early 1950s. Winchester had already manufactured 36,999 of them by May of 1907 (through serial number 353999), and my estimate is that a total of at least 150,000 of them were made through 1952.
