Hi All, I Have a Winchester Model 72A, bolt action .22. I would like to know the age and approx. value. I cannot find a SN, but the only markings on the barrel are:"Winchester trade mark made in U.S.A. Model 72A .22 SL or LR. There is also a round sybol on top of the chamber, it looks like a W on top of a P inside a circle.

The circled WP is the Winchester prookmark.

Provided there is no unpictured damage or extra holes, your rifle looks worth about $250, IMO.

I'm not real good at judging but I would give it a conservative 85-90%. No extra holes, not beat up, really a nice little rifle.
