winchester 94

    i have a winchester model 94 .30/.30 made in 1952 in very good shape lever
    actiion the barrel is 26"total 11" octogon and 14 1/4 round has fancy
    engraving on octogon and on both sides of the reciever and a 13" mag tube i
    havent been able to find out much about it on the web or in books all i have
    found out is that it was made in 1952 and is model 94 (i think cant find one like it) any information you can give me will be a great help thanks terry

    In the year 1952, the only variation of the Model 94 that was manufactured was the Sporting Carbine (with a 20-inch round barrel). Based on your description, your Model 94 is a Sporting Rifle. Winchester ceased making the Model 94 Sporting Rifle in December of 1937. I very much suspect that your Modle 94 is not factory original.

    With the serial number I can confirm if 1952 is the correct DOM.
