    Hello Terry,

In the year 1952, the only variation of the Model 94 that was manufactured was the Sporting Carbine (with a 20-inch round barrel). Based on your description, your Model 94 is a Sporting Rifle. Winchester ceased making the Model 94 Sporting Rifle in December of 1937. I very much suspect that your Modle 94 is not factory original.

With the serial number I can confirm if 1952 is the correct DOM.
