I recently acquired three Winchester lever actions, two 94s in 32-40 and 25-35 and one Model 55 in .30 WCF (30-30). I'd like to get an idea of the value of each. The 94 32-40 is a full size take-down rifle with octogon barrel. The finish is mostly gone from the metal and the wood is in real good shape. The bore is dark with sharp lands and groves. The front sight is unusual in that is is two in one. It pivots to expose a post or a post with a circular guard. The other 94 in 25-35 is a carbine with an octogon barrel and a 3/4 magazine. Most of the metal finish is gone on this one also and the wood is in pretty bad shape. There are no cracks but many gouges and the top heal of the stock and about 3/4s of the top seem to have been burned. Also, someone has carved noches in the upper part of the hardguard on both sides. The bore is also dark but with clear lands and groves. The Model 55, also a take-down model has good wood and a round barrel (nickel steel). There is also little or no bluing left on the metal. The bore is brighter than the other two with clear lands and groves. This carbine has a 3/4 magazine and Marble tang and buckhorn rear sights, both of which fold down. The serial numbers are as follows: The 32-40 - 183305, the 25-35 - 143305 and the Model 55 - 4728. Any information anyone can provide will be greatly appreciated.

I've created an album where you can view pictures of the Winchesters.

    32-40 - 183305, 1903 Front sight is called a "Beech" sight

    25-35 - 143305, 1902

    Model 55 - 4728, 1926

You'll need to post detailed pics of each, if Bert H. will give you a value.
