I got a bulk pack of Winchester ammo from Walmart. It looks like every round has lead splatter all over them, and I think I have got another pack like that awhile ago also. And everytime I get any kind of Winchester ammo it is at least corroded in some way.Well, with this last pack, the ammo is almost impossible to chamber in my single six.I have to push as hard as I can with every round to chamber it,I have even broken my nail all up.I have never had this kind of problems with other bulk packs.I usually use Federal ammo and the brass always looks brand new and chambers without even pushing.Has anyone else had Winchester problems?I plan on never buying Winchester again.

I only buy Federal (usually)or Remington bulk and I prefer the plated HPs because I hate cleaning lead out of a barrel.

A while back a bought a bunch of Winchester (500 rounds) XPERT HV and had no problems at all. Then later bought the 333 rounds hollow point plated and no problems.
And now that Walmart got the Federal 550 round value pack, I bought a bunch of those. It may have been a bad batch or something going on with what you bought?
So far I havent had any problems with them.

I'd get all the info off the box and return them. Then I'd contact Winchester and inform them of the problem.

It's an isolated incident. All Winchester ammo is not bad. They have a great reputation for a reason. Any company that big is bound to have a few QC issues now and again.

I'd return it and ask for another different box.
