  2. WINCHESTER "Wildcat?" You sure it's a Winnie? I've got a Precision Industries Division "Wildcat" and it's the only one I know of. It's from Ozark Arms, and Rau made the same gun.

Maybe you are speaking of the Russian TOZ 78 that has been relabelled the Wildcat recently? Not owned the Winchester but the original TOZ 78 is a pretty neat gun. Looks are pretty rough, but it shoots incredibly well. The Winchester is much the same gun which better rebluing, a walnut scoped and sights that are more American. BUT at the expense of a harder to adjust trigger, if I've remember - fact check me on that. All at extra cost of course.

My brother won one at a rifle club banquet. This is the Russian made model imported by Browning/Winchester. It is very accurate with all the ammo I've tried. He mounted a cheap BSA 4X scope. At 50 metesr, I can hit 12 gauge hulls quite regularly.
