    Recently a friend of mine sent me many World War II images of Pear Harbor, The D-Day Invasion & of German Soldiers. Would anyone care to see them, let me know. There are a total of 97 Images. History In Images. ~ :cool:

    I would like to see them, I have uploaded some of my Grandfather's WWII pictures to an album in my TFF profile.

    I have the "Images" on a flash drive, but do not know how to post them in a TFF Album ! ? ! ? ! ? I saw the "Pistol" images on your TFF Album - Looking Good ! :)

    to create an album:
    1-go to your user cp
    2-select pictures and albums
    3-select add album
    4-upload photos

    For pic1, Did each American soldier have a sidearm during WWII?

    Infantry Soldiers Were Not Issues Sidearms, Mostly 30.06 M-1 Garrands... Officers Carried The 1911 ACP Or In The Case Of General George S. Patton Provided His Own "Revolver." They Were Picked Up By Soldiers As Bring Backs. My Father (Not Issued A Pistol) Brought Back A Walther PP .32 Which I Have And It Shoots The Antennas Off A Nat !!! :)

    The image you are refering to (Image 1) was an "Airborne" Unit. They had 1911's and the M-1 Carbine's.

    I'm pretty sure thats Erwin Rommel. If it was, it probably was the right thing, militarily. ;)

    I have tried to look at the pictures on you profile page but can't seem to get to them. I will try agian later (I joined the group) after I am accepted, I guess???.
