    Czech Dissident

Through the center of Czechoslovakia there's a train speeding along. In one compartment of the train there are four people. A beautiful vivacious young woman, an old matronly woman, a Russian soldier, and a Czech dissident.

Suddenly the train goes through a tunnel. It is completely dark. Then is heard a loud kiss and an equally powerful slap. When the train exits the tunnel, the Russian soldier is holding the side of his face, and the Czech dissident is grinning his face off.

The old matronly woman thinks : "Now that's a fine young woman, the Russian soldier tries to steal a kiss in the tunnel and the lady slaps him one!"

The young woman is thinking : "Now that's a strange Russian soldier, he'drather kiss that old hag than me."

The Russian soldier is thinking : "Now that's a smart Czech, he steal the kiss and I get slapped."

And the Czech dissident is thinking : "Gee I'm smart! We go through the tunnel, I kiss the back of my hand and get away with slapping a Russian soldier." :D

Don't forget the czech town of West, TX., located in the north central part of the state. .....don't ask me why, I just moved here. It's hard having a traditional English last name in a town where 90% of the folk's names end in vsky, vski, and vska.
Point of Interest: I have learned that berry/cream kolaches are served at breakfast, smoked sausage kolaches are for lunch, and both of the above are served for dinner & dessert. No coffee, coke, or tea. In this town light beer is for breakfast, amber beer is served at lunch, and dark beer is the drink of choice at supper......and if you order a Budweiser, they give you dress to wear while you drink it.

A couple of couple towns: Iraan and Floydada. Ira Yates and his wife, Ann. Early ranch family in west Texas. Dunno who were Floyd and Ada, up in the Panhandle.

Ding Dong is apropos, being in Bell County.

Marathon was named by a guy who'd seen the Plains of Marathon in Greece...

Used to be a watering point on the old SP railroad, west of Sanderson: "Tesnus". It was on the east side of a mountain, so they did a bassackwards spelling of Sunset.
