    Show us a picture of you favorite 22 pistol and if you have more then one include your second. My picks represent my choices based on accuracy and feel. They are both outstanding shooters but the 17-4 with 8 3/8 barrel is a laser beam as it's accuracy is actually scary.:D:D

    I like this one. The mag release is in an awkward place for a holster. But it shoots well, if I do my part. [IMG]

    It actually belongs to 'Scout' the cat. He says he lost it in a horrible boating accident.:rolleyes: (He doesn't own a boat...silly kitty)

    I guess I would have to say that my Ruger 22/45 is my favorite. I put a red-dot scope on it and it sure shoots great.

    Forgot to mention my favorite .22.

    I'm torn between my Winchester 9422 and Rossi model-39 (Copy of Winchester model-62)

    For pistols I only have two, a High Standard Duramatic 101 and a Ruger MkII.
    For comfort and accuracy I'd go with the HS.

    Love them all, but if it's gotta be just one then it's my '53 Ruger Automatic pistol (no MK). Shows only holster wear and has been someone's field companion for many years. Shoots well and is a real nice piece. Somewhere along the line it got the old checkered walnut grips with the black logo on the left side. Sorry no pics:eek::eek: TJ

    Currently my S&W 22A. Before that it was my Browning Buckmark that I sold :(
    I had a Taurus 9 shot and I still have my Grandmother's High Standard 6" barrel. While I'm not a big S&W fan (politics, not gun issues), this .22 has shot wonderfully with cheap ammo.

    Almost forgot my Colt Peacemaker .22 / .22 WMR

    My favorite has to be the Ruger 22/45. The Walther P22 is fun, bit it sure is picky about ammo:mad:

    My Ruger Single Six. Plink all day with the .22lr cylinder, swap out with the .22 mags for the more serious work.

    Greetings;
    After years of dreaming of a S&W Mod. 41, my wife finally gave me one for my Birthday. I've been through many others but the Smith 41 is the best, as you just have to hold one in your hand. My second best is an affordable Mitchell Arms Citation II(High Standard copy).
    Regards

    Hey Skoda,

    What a beautiful pair of .22 Autos. I'd like to have them and also a Browning Medalist so I could quit dreaming about what .22 pistol to buy next.

    After those three, what's left?

    Hi Danwin22;
    I also wish I could own a Browning Medalist as they are fine reliable target guns. Unfortunately all I could afford is this Browning Bullseye with a BEC Miradot($14.99) from cdnninvestments.com, a cheap sight, however works just as well as my Ultradot. The Bullseye is a good gun with an out of the box trigger that rivals my Mod.41, but it's certainly not a Medalist! I recently moved to Ocala are you anywhere nearby?
    Regards
