Yugo M48A Question

    Just picked up an M48A with NO Crest or any other marking except serial and proofs.

    from what I have read only the M48BO had no markings, does anyone have any info on a this?

    will post pics later if wanted.

    So the BO's were not marked BO?

    are the BO's more valuable than one marked with a crest?

    Unmarked M48's are often said to have been made for the Suez Crisis when Eygpt upset Britian and France in the 50's.

    BO's are getting harder to find, and yes they do not have any markings. I picked up a two of them a couple years ago that didn't even look like they were ever fired or used. One is milled parts, and the other is stamped parts.

    Must be a BO, because I have an M48A, and I know it. It's got the crest and "M48A" right on top of the receiver. My understanding is, you know when you've got an M48A; can't miss the markings.
