Boy yooper, that really sounds great! Sounds like a win, win, with cutting costs and spending more time with Perry. Sometime send a few pics of your family and what the countryside looks like. Send by private email of course. Things are very good for us, but haven't been able to get free time to come up your way. Thanks for the message, regards A.L.

Thanks yooper. God willing Nancy and I will get up to visit. We would let you know way in advance. Generally my business gives us a little fall break. I'll keep you informed. Our business website is www.heartlandtriminc.com . Thanks for the fellowship!

Upper Peninsula, right? What kind of temps do you get in summer and when does your summer run (June thru August)? And what about winter, does it get super cold? We have never been up that far but I have thought about it. Probably not many people around there I suppose.

she's doing pretty good yooper. It's been 4 weeks and Doc said it would be another 4 before she can walk in a regular shoe. She wears a BIG BOOT type thing for now. She keeps saying her middle toe feels numb and like a piece of wood. But the surgery turned out OK. I'm doin alright, how about you? How far up in Michigan do you live? Is it getting warm there yet?

I am glad to hear she is going to do that! When our daughter went to college, she just got away from the horses. That was many years ago, and she is a very successful owner of a financial consulting business, but no animals for her kids to grow up with.

      Thank you!!
We have one Peruvian Paso and one - how should I put it - one that just strayed in and stayed.
But my love, and the wifes as well, is the AQH. Nothing else in the world like half a ton of dynamite on a hair trigger -

And a happy birthday to you, too, my friend!!

Thanks for asking yooper. She is gradually getting better. I think the surgery was successful but we won't know for sure until they unwrap the foot and review it. That will take place next Wednesday. They gave her pain pills, but you probably know how that works. Sometimes good and sometimes just so,so. The bad part about the pain killers is they upset her stomach and she can't eat anything. Anyway, thanks for remembering her!
