It looks like Celtic or Norse influence was used by the maker, but what do I know lol, I'm neither a Celt or a Viking.

It is a neat looking blade though.

Aztecs never developed the technology to produce steel or iron, they made swords from hardwood with obsidian inserts along the edge.

It definitely appears to be of European influence, at least. I'd say its a Scottish claymore, but I wouldn't dare try to tell you how old it is. Looks home made form the pictures.

Claymores are two handed swords, the hilt on this one isn't long enough for two handed use, but with nothing in the picture for scale it's kind of hard to judge how long it really is.
