The safety he had in it would have worked if it was fitted right.
You can not expect ANY part to fit with out some fitting.
This is one of the after market parts I was telling you about. It has to be fitted.
I called Rock Island and they said to call back this coming week.
There is also Novak and Wilson. Both make the same thing.
The last time we talked you said to hold off to see if the parts come in.
Have you changed your mind?.
Like I said I would prefer to put in the factory part but if you want I will put in any after market part you want.
And do want the wide blade now?. Or the standard blade?.
Mike
Boy there is nothing more aggravating then a customer that does not listen to what I say.
Then calls you every day to find out "Any Updates"
I ordered the part (The day we talked) and did not have it shipped over night so when it gets here I will install it and call you.
You do know when you bug me the price goes up
And this is a customer that told me "I need it by the 4th of July."
Remember I can not go down to the "Parts" store and get it. I have to order it and wait intill they ship it and it gets here BEFORE I can install it
I need the $1000.00 it is going to cost you as much as you need your gun.
Mike
I was just curious. I know very well you have a full load. Notice I didn't call since last week when I said to go ahead and order the Wilson unit. At that time you said you'll call when it's done. My thought was since you're rooting around the forum anyway a quick question for you to answer at your convenience was best.
YES I AM
Don't know if or how I can say how to say this (and still be welcome on TFF).
I have always said I would rather be called a "D..." then a "A.." Because one gets it the other gives it. You know I have worked hard to be called the title of "D...." And Proud to hear it
I think the safety will be in on Monday So it should be done next week.
Knowing what I am Todd said it in the way he said his last sentence. "At your convenience"
WITH RESPECT!!!!!.
Mike
It is all OK Todd and I are friends and only my friends get away with calling me a "D..."
The only thing he said wrong is he did not add Sir before the D....
Mike
Mike and I have spoken at great lengths in the past. He told me he likes being called that name. Beside, it's kind of Like Bill and I going at each other in jest. But if times got tough we would have each other's back
Just leaving to the hardware store and then get the cars oil changed (The light has been on for a while).
So call all you want I will not be here.
Mike
It should be delivered tomorrow between 11:00 and noon. I had Mike send it to my work so as not to be left on a porch or something stupid. I just wasn't expecting it to be a Saturday. I'll be sure and wait there tomorrow for it
Signed up for USPS text alerts. Saturday 07:37 I got a text saying "business closed" and no further details. On a whim I went to PO and asked about it. Sure enough, they had it in house.
Lif got busy and had to wait until this morning to try it out. I ran 9 mags through it with not a single problem. Target was 30 feet away and all the shots were in a 4" circle. Not bad for doing rapid fire.
That pattern is pretty good, Todd. The shots in the lower left indicate jerking the trigger rather than a smooth pull, but most of your hits look to be right on. I wouldn't be filing down anything until I got in a few hundred rounds to get used to the new setup. Installing adjustable rear sights is another good thought, but not until you've got the trigger control thing under control - I have a heck of a time with that, myself.
Next time out you might want to move the target out a bit - I hear that two yards is a lot harder than it looks on TV, though I've never tried it myself.
