Flashbangs, so-called because (a) muzzle flash of each is probably visible from low earth orbit, and (b) the "bangs" are every bit as sporty as the flashes. Top item's a Chinese Type 53, lower's a Zastava PAP M92 pistol.
I had a Winchester Model 71 .348 for a while, they are a beautiful design. It did kick like a mad mule but the cool factor was really high. That Miroku is pretty. Mine had been drilled for a sight that wasn't with the gun when I bought it which really diminished the value, but it was a good shooter. I never did buy dies for it and finally traded it off.
Look at this Winchester. See how the sling swivel is part of the end of the magazine tube.
Your Dad's gun has the end of the mag, then anothet piece with the swivel, then the bayonet lug. Like this Savage.
The Winchester 12 is made like the 97, so it ain't one of them. The Ithaca 37 was done with a separate swivel lug, but in the pic your Dad's gun appears to have an ejection port, which lets out the Ithaca.
