I inherited Dad's old cap lock muzzle loader that us boys would play with growing up. I don't think Dad ever identified it exactly, but I remember him saying something about being an old Prussian rifle. I've looked on-line but haven't been able to identify it. I was hoping someone has an idea of what it is.
It has SUHL over S&C stamped on the right side and a strange proof mark(?) stamped on various parts. It also has "35" stamped on one of the screws on the trigger guard plate-thing (sorry, I don't know terms).
It is 56 1/4" long, butt to tip and the bore measures about .75" interior diameter (with my ruler).
Thanks for all your help.
