After tomorrow that'll be the case no more as I'll have been paid and will be buying it as my first ever personally owned handgun. Still gotta get it from Gallery of Guns and wait the stupid ten day waiting period out but oh well. It shall be well worth my time. I hope.
We will need a range report when you get it. I was at Cabela's 4 or 5 years ago and they were on sale for a good price. A guy bought 5 of them. He was a trainer and used them in his classes.
Don't know what would be more painful, the ten day waiting period, or enduring my wife's menstrual cycle. Regardless my neighbor has one and really likes it, congratulations.
Congrats. My cousin has the same gun. I've fired a few mags. Certainly worth the purchase price, I should think it will serve you well.
Now on to the next one...
I am picking mine up today from my local ffl dealer. Everything I researched on this gun made it an easy choice. I am replacing my old gen. 1 Glock with it. I wish you as much fun as I am anticipating with mine. Enjoy friend.
It's 10 calendar days to the minute. If you buy on the 1st at 2:31 PM you cannot pick up until the 10th at 2:31 PM. The computer will not release the paperwork until 240 hours has elapsed.
Worst is when you buy on Thursday. We all know that the LGS is closed on Mondays (at least all of them around here are) so you have to wait 11 days!!
Here in CA you complete the purchase, including payment in full for the purchase, taxes and DROS fees, then you wait 10 days. The waiting period is after you purchase.
