used to have a 9mm compact CZ75D PCR 14+1 but didn't like a couple of things about it (tiny sights and serrated trigger)

So I'm giving this gun a try... Ordered a Turkish made compact EAA SAR B6P poly frame 3.8" 9mm 13+1 (a CZ knock-off)... Weighs in at about 25oz

This one does not have a decocker, but sights look better and there are no serrations on trigger... Has pretty good reviews

Will pick it up in a day or so... And will see if it is a keeper. Price was right these run about $280

I have a few other 9's... This should be a good addition... I like a hammer fired in the stable

There's nothing wrong with Turkish; the best selling gun we stock is made in Turkey, and every buyer has loved it. The Canik is a 9mm polymer-frame striker-fired gun that includes 2 18-rd magazines, paddle-type retention holster, cleaning kit, and hard case. It includes a decocker, match-grade barrel, tactile loaded chamber indicator, and after decocking, can be ready to fire again with about 1/4" movement of the slide. At $400 retail, our customers can't resist, especially the first time buyers who go into shock when they ask what my Sig costs.:D

Turkey is producing some excellent firearms, and we'll be looking forward to a range report!

I have a matched pair of Sarsilmaz ST10 all metal 9mm pistols that I paid a little over $269 each for on sale, and they shoot like a cross between a Sig P220 and an H & K USP, of which I can attest to as I have both pistols. The quality, fit and finish is excellent. The case they come in, however... Also, finding spare magazines are a problem.

At my local club we have 2 Canik CZ 75 clones, the Dolphin or Shark. The trigger on them is horrible for the rest they are decent.

A few weeks back I shot a new Canik TP9 SFX and even though I dislike polymer/striker fired guns in general I was pleasantly surprised by it.
The trigger was pretty good and it was plenty accurate.
