Good Morning All,
I'm having problems with false feeds on my slightly used but new to me CZ Rami 2075 chambered for .40cal. It's also throwing casings a long way. Many are suggesting going to a 22# spring vs. the stock standard 17#. Talked to guy at CZ who acted like he'd never heard of the problems with false feeds or spring pressures. Yet, it's all over the CZ forums. Anyone have experience w/ this. Much appreciated
"False Feed" is when gun jambs and the next load is stuck on ramp. Gun was clean, ammo clean and new, high quality. Some have suggested polishing the ramp carefully, but on one of the links of a CZ oriented thread, there seemed to be consensus that a 22# spring was necessary for the gun to eat without a hitch and for solving the long toss of casings. Your input greatly appreciated.
Yes. Failure to feed is correct.
Careful you don't create a timing issue with that #22 spring.
Have you tried a different mag ? Factory and not a cheap aftermarket mag.

Yes sir, all my mags and CZ factory. I've really not given the gun a full workout since the problem first occurred since I did the research. What pound spring might you recommend? Just a new #17 pound or something in between there and the 22#?
One more thing. Are you sure you are not limp wristing the pistol ?
Make sure you are holding with a firm handshake grip.
Limp wristing whe pistol will also cause the problem you describe.
Let an experienced pistol shooter fire a couple of mags and see if he has the same problem.
This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
