I picked up a can of Gun Scrubber at Wally World a few weeks back, it sat on the shelf, waiting for a chance to well, scrub guns! I finally used it yesterday to "scrub" a few 1911's, and it did a magnificent job! I don't have any Tupperware guns, so no damage. "Caution, may harm some firearm components composed of plastics, painted surfaces, synthetic stocks, camouflage finishes and wood finishes"...Since my "shoot'n Irons" are all metal, no worries, and it did a super job. Since it takes everything off the gun, I did lube them heavily. My helicopter used a very expensive grease for the rotor head, and I have a 5 pound can of it that I use to lube my guns. I figure since it has no harmful effects on helo rotors and other moving parts, it will serve my guns well, and it has, used it for several years now, dunno how long a 5 pound can will last, but we can probably lube every gun in TFF several times a year for a LONG time...

Sitting in my safe is a Remington 511 that has had almost as many birthdays as I have, I even received it on a birthday...8th I think...somewhere around 1943...Yep, it's OLD...the bolt concerned me, every time I cycled the action, it would drop the "hammer" and had the gun been loaded, fire. I took the bolt out, hosed it down heavily with Scrubber, and it works like NEW! I did lube it with some gun oil, and it works like a champ now. My grandsons can now shoot a rifle that their father, grandfather and great-grandfather have used...Life is good!

Needless to say, Gun Scrubber has earned a place on my gun cleaning shelf.
