live there...Here I am making a post about it, tied in with an article from the NY TIMES
this Sunday about its food supply...I know about it because of the many years I have
served and been associated with the US Navy construction force (SEABEES) because
of their being stationed there and building things... That specific location is Argentia ..
When Russia was the Soviet Union much of that naval construction activity was in
support of defensive plans for our nation... Personnel duty and service on Newfoundland
is much like the Seabee activity in Guantanamo, Cuba....for years uncounted and still
