I did a little "horse tradin" today, I picked up an old Remington 722 that was someones bench rest target rifle years back. It's chambered in .222 Remington, the barrel is 24" long and measures .990" at the muzzle. The stock is a very nice piece of black walnut, with a beaver-tail flat bottom fore-end and has a Monte Carlo comb and raised cheek piece. The gun came with over 200 pieces of brass, and a set of dies also. I did some trading with a friend of mine for this gun. He got it about 15-20 years back from an estate sale, at that time it had a Lyman 12X long tube scope on it (that went down the road for what he paid for the whole rifle). I put a Leupold 12X scope on it and will get it out to see what it will do as soon as I get the worn extractor replaced. Some brands of brass extracts, some don't.
