Shot only 22LR today myself. Put just over 500 rounds through my Ruger MK IV and another 200 through my Savage MK II-FV. Using up some older Winchester Super-X 22LR.

How many rounds did you shoot today (or your last range trip)? caliber(s), firearm(s)?

We have a big competition coming up this weekend.

If I get all the rounds off, I'll shoot about 200 .22 and 130 .357.

If I take my New Model Army I'll put about 18 rounds through that.

In addition I'll be taking pictures, helping with statistics, and maybe the scoring, refacing targets, and running the target turner.

Got bit by the BP bug today. Shot 20 or so PRB over 70 grains. The 8" and 12" gongs at 90 and 100 yds off hand.

Picked up some of the evidence..

I started drinking cold bottled water about an hour or so before I got there but it wasn't enough.I'm almost out of .223 reloads I have to make another big batch, only about 150 left.Still shooting 9mm's I made about 3 years ago and those seem to be endless.
I must mention my dads old Ruger single six is super accurate,it impressed me a lot today.I was using 22 magnums in it mostly. It was hitting all around close to the bullseye.
It's 9 bucks to shoot there but I had a free pass today!

Ah, she's been on the Dean's List three semesters in a row, has straight A's and is in a Masters program taking Biology, Chemestry and Physiology all at the same time. Plus she's paying for it herself. I don't mind the phone call.

Put over a pound of lead down range with my smoke pole this morning. 100 yds.

Might go back out with my Rough Rider and plink at 50 and 100 yds.

I was supposed to go to my trap range but don't feel good so didn't go. I have a new Colt 1911 that I haven't shot yet. Been to busy at work and felt bad since thursday. I hope next week is better.

Nice, Mak. Looks like he's right handed and left eye dominant? That's how my sister shoots too.

Introducing someone to shooting is a rich experience. Well done.

You are a good coach.

Last weekend we had a special "guest fun shoot" at the club. I watched as a new member introduced his wife to shooting his bolt action .22. She was having trouble holding steady with her arms on the bench, so I brought out my bench rest. She was so happy as she just about shot the center out of the target. He had a go with the bench rest and was very happy. Then I brought out my gallery rifle (lever action .357). Her eyes got big, she had a great big smile as I showed them how it worked. Then they both had a go at it. Her immediate response was "I need to join the club so we can get one of those." She took her targets home.

Later we had a fun competition; I let them use my 10-22 for that.

This weekend: we had our company BBQ at an outdoor activity center. Among the activities on offer were airgun shooting, archery, and clay pigeon shooting. Later I went out to my club and finished off the boxes of ammo I had started last weekend.#

Next weekend we have a gallery rifle "1500" competition...150 rounds from various positions (standing, kneeling, sitting, strong side, weak side) and ranges from 10 yards to 50 yards, target face times from 2 minutes to 3 seconds. I'll go to have fun and make everyone else look good.;)
That's great. Sound like you had as much fun as they did :)

A couple "flyers" always works ;)

Today, exactly 6 rounds from my Jeffrey Rook rifle I had re-lined back to its un-original 25-20 WCF. Haven't got to shoot much lately and I was having withdrawls. 6 rounds ain't much but it cut the edge off...:D

For today, no glasses other than plastic safety were worn: the front site looked like a poodle fuzzy three humped camel.
Shot some RIA reload Xtremes tests at 25 yards.
After that, went to the 25 feet are and shot a whole bunch of reloaded Berrys, Xtremes, and Hornady's.
The attached is the RIA 45acp at 25 yards.

CMP Garand monthly Garand shoot today. Which has turned into "Any military weapon" as there were (2) .308 black guns, (2) Garands and my Trapdoor.

60% in the black, all in scoring circles. I used smokeless today with a powder coated 425 gr Lyman cast bullet and 26 grains of AA5744. My "Go To" round when reloading smokeless low pressure cartridges for trapdoor.

Not by best day, but not my worst either!

Went to the trap range today. Shot 4 rounds. 20/22/23/22=87. My son shot 24/24/22/25=95. I have been in a big slump this year. I think I may be pulling out of it. My son has been shooting outstanding. This was his worst score in several months. In the 3rd round I actually beat him. That doesn't happen very often.

Went to break in another ar-15 (fire once, clean, fire once , clean...) got up to 7 cycles and had to leave. Slow going! While there, shot some different pistols and then my main reason for gong was to cycle thru some Mosin development rounds. I will repeat the Mosin rounds in the picture w/ once fired and neck sized only next outting.
