Just received my Rock River Arms upper...what a difference in quality compared to the Anderson and PSA uppers I am used to! This thing is solid! Very happy I went with RRA!

All of my ARs will be 5.56 or .223 Wylde. After my experience with the .300 BLK, I have decided that I am not organized enough, yet, to own multiple AR calibers. And if in the future I do get into another AR caliber (other than something in the .308 family) it will be something that cannot chamber in a 5.56 gun. If I start hunting with AR-15s, I will probably build a featureless .25-45 Sharps or 7mm Valkyrie on an Ares Arms SCR lower. Only because you cannot hunt legally with a .223 projectile in FL.

But the finish feels much more durable, the color is very consistent, its a tad bit heavier with visibly thicker aluminum...It is most certainly forged still...I don't know how else to explain it, but it just has that high quality feel to it. Well worth the $95 spent on it.
