Let's talk about gun safety. or.. What is SAFE?

Scanning through youtube I found a video talking about why Kahr firearms are unsafe due to their trigger pull. Apparently a double action trigger, to this guy, is unsafe due to it not functioning in the way he has built in his mind that a trigger should work at all times.

Here's the video. If you want to skip past the part about how he talks of how many subscribers he has and how people trust his opinions you can skip to the 3:30 mark where he starts in on the "unsafe" Kahr trigger. If you would like to skip to the part that IMO goes into a wildly unsafe practice you can skip to the 6 minute mark.

Feel free to make fun of me as being a safety freak or worrywart, but isn't the practice he's describing as a positive for the Glock/striker trigger bringing the 2nd and 4th rule of gun safety into play at the same time without intent of immediate firing of the weapon?

Who "holds someone at bay" in a high tension environment with their trigger pulled all the way to the wall for an unknown amount of time? Am I wrong in thinking this is a bad thing to tell folks this is a doable thing with a striker fired weapon of any weapon with a discernable wall before breaking a shot?

Another Glock nut! If it ain't a Glock, it ain't a gun, or at least a safe gun! Sure the Kahr has a horrible trigger in my opinion, but it's still a gun, and one that will work for anyone. Why do you need the ability to 'feel' the trigger on a double action pistol? It's double action. If you want a trigger that falls with minimum trigger pull, go to a single action pistol, like a 1911. I bet he would find the 1911 to be unsafe as well. Keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to shoot. That rule applies to all guns.

IMHO this guy is a total friggin idiot!

If you're "holding someone at bay" don't put any pressure on the trigger!!!! Let's say your take a step and stumble, or get bumped somehow... Boom! You're now a murderer! Idiot! How much would you want to bet I can squeeze that trigger from start to finish in less time than it would take for either of his scenarios to get to critical mass?
From at your side to pointed at me I can get at least one round off, covering ten feet I could probably get two...
After watching this I might go buy a Kahr...

This is where I am on this.

Our police are trained to handle a stressful situation better than the average person and we have seen several times in the last year or two where a few of them have had a finger on the trigger with terrible consequences. It is just asking too much to have deadnuts trigger control in a high pressure and liquid situation. To send out information like this to the masses is asking to add to bad gun statistics.

I am no Kahr fan. All the same, his description of the trigger, a consistent weight until a crisp release, sounded good and desirable.
