I sent my forms off to the ATF on 8/22/2016. So anytime within the next month I should be getting a present. A Thunderbeast Ultra 7 in FDE ceracoat. I can't wait much longer, I'm getting antsy.
I think I'll wait for the Hearing Protection Act to pass before I go to thinking about a suppressor, not to mention I'd have to buy a gun that one would work on, I'm darned sure not going to thread any of my current guns.
I filled out a Form 1 back in May of 16 and only got my tax stamp on Jan 4, 17. Of course it was filed on a trust, and there were a bunch of people who filed before the rule change on July 1, I guess it got caught up in the crowd. Good luck, show some pictures when you get it.
UPDATE: I called this afternoon, my application was approved yesturday! So now it's just a matter of them mailing it to my dealer, then me getting the phone call.
.223. It's a Thunderbeast Ultra 7 in flat dark earth. Went with them because they gaurentee no point of impact change from having it on, to taking it off. Something no other can manufacture will do.
Geee, I wonder who... that tile and cabinets about killed me along with everything else momma the slave driver wanted done. Do you like? Turned out nice imho, at leist it's square.
WHY doesn't the ATF simply use the same system that FFL's use? They could get your clearance in 15 minutes!! IF the FFL system is good for firearms surely it should be good for accessories.
Maybe I'm too ignorant to understand!!!
