So my SWMBO (She Who Must Be Obeyed) has forbidden any washing of gun related items in our regular clothes washer...ie Bore snakes. So I was out working on reloading bench the other day and spied my SS pin tumbler just sitting there doing nothing. Got to thinking and now I've got my bore snakes in tumbling away. Think I'll throw them in with the next batch of cases so the tumbling action will be better.

Ditto what Joe said. I only use them in the field as an emergency cleaner, then I clean them by washing them with dish detergent. And no, that Pretty Brazilian Girl won't let me wash any greasy stuff in her washer or in the kitchen, I use a sink in my shop...
impress us all and put a 22" cleaning rod in there
