Trying to figure out what the make and model are of this .22lr bolt action. Does anyone have any ideas? Maybe a Winchester..

Hello everyone, I am considering purchasing a Walther SSP, but I don't know if going for a second-hand third generation SSP for around $1000-1200, or a brand new fifth generation SSP for $1900-2200. I have translated prices to dollars, as here in my country is impossible to find cheaper ones...

Hey guys, I've had this rifle a few years, but fired it for the first time yesterday. It had several failures to go into battery, to fire, to feed and to extract. Yeah, I'm not happy. I was using Aguila .22 super extra ammo, 40 grams. I put 200 rounds through it. I've reached out to the...

So my search for a new .22lr plinker has finally been narrowed down to the final two contenders. Either the Ruger Mark IV Target or the Browning Buckmark Hunter. Both have their pros and cons. The Ruger costs less, breaks down easier and comes with 2 mags. However, it requires more tweaking...

So another gun that popped up on my radar in my quest for a .22lr plinker is the Smith & Wesson 22A-1. No longer in production but still several good used ones out there. Found one on Armslist for $269 and it has 4 mags included. Reviews are good. Disassembles almost as easily as a Ruger Mk IV...

My last submission of the evening... While I can't offer an age or ownership history on this set, I can tell you it was one of my father's "go-to" pistols. I remember it being fired... A LOT. For some reason, I struggled with the lighting and reflection on these parts - I apologize for the...

This guy was often seen firing on silhouettes at the range - I believe it to be early-80's, but that's just my guess based on my memory of it. The trigger and hammer appear to have been neglected; they're not actually rusted, but there's an obvious degradation of the metal material that I'm not...
  8. Technical Questions & Information
I recently purchased a Reck .22lr lever action, and it very much needed a good cleaning. This gun is nothing like a Marlin or Browning. I’m needing some help reassembling. Does anyone know of instructional video or plans. Needing help. Thanks.

First I would like to apologize if there is a lot of these post. I tried to searched and couldn't find one, people looked friendly so I made an account haha. Going to the range I've mostly shot my pistol, I have other rifles but target shooting my 7mm isn't affordable for me. So I want a .22...

Got this Steyr at an estate sale. Appears to be an older Steyr .22 sporterized trainer. Magazine fed, has dovetail on barrel, and Steyr markings, shoots flawlessly. Have not found one like it yet and any help to ID and possible value would be appreciated..BZ
