I recently picked up this Old Hopkins and Allen single shot 12ga shotgun. I'd like to use it as a turkey gun. It takes 2 3/4 shells obviously no magnum rounds. My question is this, with the age of this firearm should shooting modern 12ga 2 3/4 rounds be safe for this firearm?
