Looking to find any information on this rifle. I have been researching it on and off for weeks and really can’t find any accurate information on it other than the R.B. Stamp comes from a known maker. The gun is broken and does not shoot but I would like to know more about it before I hang it up...
This has been in my family for at least 60 years but we know little about it. It appears to be converted from flintlock at some point. It appears to have a receiver for a stock (I do not have the stock). there is no ramrod.
I tried to capture all the markings I can find in pictures below.
I'm hoping someone can help me identify this percussion pistol (pictures attached). Markings include:
St Etienne (with letter A in lower part of S)
C Cordu
