I recently picked up this Old Hopkins and Allen single shot 12ga shotgun. I'd like to use it as a turkey gun. It takes 2 3/4 shells obviously no magnum rounds. My question is this, with the age of this firearm should shooting modern 12ga 2 3/4 rounds be safe for this firearm?
OK I feel kind of stupid. Took an old Hopkins and Allen 5 shot revolver apart and got everything back together but can not figure out where the V shaped spring goes. Have searched everywhere but can not find a drawing. Does anyone have one or could they sketch one?
