Planning on setting my Mossberg 500 up for feral hog control. Thinking about rifled barrel, not entirely sure about what slugs to use though. Brenneke slugs seem to have a good reputation, anyway looking for something I can shoot up to 100 yrds, and will pack enough punch to drop those bigguns. Would the Brenneke super sabot do it? Or would I do better with something else?

Side arm won't be a problem, since the 44 mag should drop em if they get to close.

Thanks

The Brenneke is the best shotgun slug ever devised.

The Brenneke are best in a smooth bore slug barrel. Rifled slug barrels use sabot slugs.
