    Interesting facts on American Crime
Russia has almost twice as many judges and magistrates as the United States. Meanwhile, the United States has 8 times as much crime.
The United States puts 0.7 % of its population in Prison - a vastly higher percentage than any other nation.

crime like drugs is a business. Dont be fooled if you really wanted to curb crime we could do it. There are ways. But then look at all the police, da's lawyers, ect out of a job. Not to mention all the money that goes into building prisons, buying cars, guns, vest, uniforms, radios, handcuffs to pin up your girlfriend. You get the pic huh. OH what about all the insurance claims for damaged property and what about the loss of life? Funeral homes, hospitals for all the gun shot and knife victims.:mad::mad::mad:

Not mentioned in that murder number(s) is a good deal of the murders in the United States are the result of two criminals (mainly drug entrepreneurs) solving region of distribution and supply disputes.

I'm not sure if those figures include killings in lawful self defense. I notice 'homicide' (which is simply any killing, for any reason, of a human) is not listed on that survey.

Another pertinent stat in all this discussion is less than 5% of the population are responsible for over 85% of the crime in the United States.

Caution: That figure is from my memory, albeit, it's close. That figure is a couple four or five years ago; but I'd bet it hasn't changed to any great extent.

Oh! Did you all hear a federal three judge panel has ordered the People's Democratic Socialist Republic of California to release just over 40,000 state prisoners due to crowding? To his credit, Attorney General Jerry Brown is filing an appeal to prevent it.
