    got the kimber 22 converson ? wats good & whats the bads ! anit got to do any shooting do i need to know anything about it ? thanks ?

    They usually work OK. They allow you to shoot the basic geometry of the 1911 at the cost of .22 ammo.

    You likely paid as much or more for it as you would have for a new Ruger .22 Mark III 22/45 target pistol. From my experiences the conversions do not shoot as tight as the Ruger. I would not likely elect to use a Kimber conversion in a 50 yard slow fire Bullseye match.

    That pretty much covers it. The conversion unit is fun to shoot and reasonably accurate. Gives the trigger and feel of the 1911. Mine shoots "minute of rattlesnake"
