Aguila is making a limited run of 22 win auto for the 1903 winchester. I have found it for $19 a box on Lucky Gunner as the cheapest. it's msrp is $25 for a box of 50.

kind of pricey, but considering your only other option is antique boxes it isn't too bad.

I have one - belongeged to my great grandfather - would be nice to shoot it, but at this price I will just nkeep the history and shoot my other .22s. Aquila is usually very rgood and easonable for their other ammo. This isn't reasonable.

I just received Win Auto ammo for $17.50 per box from Lucky Gunner. It's made by Aguila in Mexico, and is labeled "Eley Primed." Eley priming is a process for installing the priming powder in rimfire cartridges.

It's been years since any .22 Win Auto ammo was made. No manufacturer seemingly thought it was worth their time for a very limited market. I salute Aguila and don't begrudge their pricing.

The LGS i go frequent has it. He knows i have a 63, and he said if i ever wanted to get a 03 he could keep me pretty well supplied in Win.Auto. I guess nobody buys it that much so his stock hasn't gone down. I'll see him Sat. i'll ask what type he has and how much he wants for it. Not that it will help you much, but i'm just curios.

dcriner, just was at my LGS and he also has Aguila. He bought a bunch of it back in 2014. His cost back then was $22.00 a box of 50. He is selling it now for $29.50 a box. So yeah you got one heck of a great deal on at $17.50.

Mine, at $17.50 per box, came from Lucky Gunner. Keep your eye peeled - maybe it will come down in price? No telling how much Aguila made and if the market will be flooded.

I was just curious what he was selling it for. I don't have a 03 that uses it. I have a 63 made in 1958 grooved receiver, LR only. Both are great guns.
