I have never heard of anyone manufacturing a .22 mag semi auto w/ a tubular magazine. Has this ever been done?

It would be a great rule beater in New York (where we can no longer legally own what you own). In this configuration it woudl be a viable SD rifle, legal because tubular magazines are exempt from the law provision allowing no more than 7 rounds in a magazine (Max 7 in a 10 round mag).

Semi-auto, and .22 magnum, just don't go well together! The length of the .22 magnum cartridge doesn't lend itself to the semi-auto action. Magnum Research did make a semi-auto that works, and works well, but it's not tube fed. It has a 10 rd mag like the Ruger 10/22.
