32 Coliat. (Best American cartridges are those that fit best the a.e. revolver) is marked on the top of the barrel. (32 long) on the side and a marking that is in the pic is above the handle. Any general info or value would be appreciated. Thanks.

Never heard of that brand, but my best guess is Eibar-region of Spain. Cheap copy of a Colt. I'd guess 32 Long Colt, not 32 S&W Long. That's probably a good thing, as the Long Colt is obsolete, and you won't be tempted to shoot any, and blow that thing up.

Value, to anyone with any gun knowledge, will probably be around 50 bucks.

Alpo is right on the money, The name Coliat was chosen because it sounds like Colt. It looks to be an Eibar Special, a Colt copy made between 1920 and 1936.

Thanks guys, I looked all over and had no luck finding any info on a Coliat. I suspected that it was a copy of a Colt but wasn't sure.
