I have a bersa thunder 380 that calls for 380 acp ammo.

Can I use 380 auto instead?

Whats the difference between the two.

thanks for any help

acp is a term used for "automatic colt pistol" when the colt pistol was first put into use by the us military. At that time they had 45 revolvers, but had a rimmed case,so they had to identify one from the other, hence ACP. Gpostal is right, you can use either.
Welcome aboard,you'll have fun here.

Hi Sean......welcome to TFF.

Yep..... .380 Auto and .380 ACP are the same cartridge. In Europe it's also known as 9mm Kurtz and 9mm Corto.
