We have a fire ban, tinder dry conditions. Fireworks are a no no but there will be plenty of those who don't care and will do it anyway.

My son and son in law just spent $600 on fireworks. Waste of money in my book. But then I am old as dirt.

Fireworks been going off around here for three weeks, makes me wonder if people understand that July Fourth is considered the Independence Day holiday and not June Twelfth!

Sir, I believe you are mistaken. That was the JUNETEENTH Independence Day celebration for sure.

You can stop wondering. They don't have a clue what July Fourth might be - liberals instructors in all schools don't like things like that.

The fools have been setting off Air Burst fireworks starting yesterday. But because of the Fake Covid lockdown The City of Long Beach said they aren't going to do the usual 4th of July Fireworks display. There are at least 12 Fireworks tents open now. Problem with that is the Air Launched Fireworks are only allowed on the Beach, but you have to wear Cloth Face Masks and observe Social Distancing any time you are Outside of your house according the socialist Jay Inslee.

Ain't sure what we'll do. Probably do something on the grille unless it's too hot. Pull a trigger a little, usually do. We haven't been able to stay up late enough to watch a fireworks display in 15 years...lol....and I can think of a few hundred other things I'd rather spend my money on than fireworks....like real noisemakers that have consequences....:D

No fireworks this year - between the crowds of morons from the Left coast ignoring all consideration for others bringing their infections across the border, and the huge fire hazard this year, it would be incredibly stupid to even try.

I'll be spending the day grilling pork ribs, corn, and whatever else sounds tasty, and hopefully enjoying a swim in the pool. That is, of course, only if I get the brake master cylinder on the Buick replaced first.

I normally celebrate the Texas way, steak on the grill with a baked potato and a lot of butter, with a Lone Star beer/s to wash the butter down.
