I read the comments first and saw the printed list so I did not have to waste 10 minutes. This is just one man's opinion and I do agree with most of them, but the worst, I don't know.
There's one man's opinion and I can't say that I agree with all of his choices.
While I don't necessarily agree with all of his choices in the top 5 worst carry guns, I do believe that they would all fit in a top 20 worst carry guns. I would like to add to the list anything in .22 LR. Yeah, I know some folks that do carry the .22LR as their primary carry gun! Things like the NAA's, and all small .22 revolvers, and pistols. Not necessarily the worst guns, but certainly the worst caliber.
I would carry my Ruger Vaquero. I have better options but would carry it is I had to.
If it was all I had, I would too.
Could'nt get to open the link. Five worst carry guns?
1.) U.S.S. Missouri
2.) 175mm Howitzer
3.) Abrahams' M1 Tank
4.) B52 Superfortress
5.) Death Star
Other than that, if they are carryable, use 'em. The clunkiest carry gun I ever use is a cheap old .38 Special derringer with a trigger pull of somewhere around 20 pounds. If I drew it and aimed at my feet I'd likely miss. But I'd still whip it out if I had to. Any gun is better than no gun.
I don't know about that! If it won't shoot, or hit near where you are aiming it, why have it? Might as well throw it at the BG and grab a stick! Maybe a pocket full of rocks would be better!
I didn't watch the video, just read the comments and the list. My opinion is that the criteria for carry should be a gun that is reliable and a shooter that is competent with it.
can't get the link to open.
after much work, got it to open.
quite surprised the bersa thunder made the list.. it's almost a copy of the sig p230 / 232
Would you consider caliber as a criteria too?
Back about 35 years ago I had a run in with some real bad guys. I had to carry a gun on several occasions. It was not legal at the time but I had little choice. At the time this was all I had.
Not what I would call the ideal carry gun.
Yes, that's a raging debate. Personally I consider .380 as the minimum, but it isn't up to me to tell anyone what to carry.
I know a couple of people that carry Bersa .380s,they like them and they're reliable.I also have a good friend that is poor...all he could afford was a HiPoint 9mm,we've put literally 1000rds through that ugly, clunky thing-it went bang everytime w/more than acceptable accuracy......No1 rule-have a gun, have friends with guns.
at least he didn't badmouth my carry gun'
