anyone reload for this one? I traded up on a mod 54-1 Norinco in VG visual condition. so will soon beging reloading for this. so if you dont mind help me out. I have found dies (steel set) from Lee..but factory showes out of stock..operator unable to determine when it may be avail. found brass from Starline..backordered till 5\31..got order in for 1000 cases.. but the burning question is what bullet to use? found threads saying everything from 32 auto to 30 mauser and also 223's...all i got was confused!! so I came here to get unconfused!!

also what primers are needed? I have LPP and SPP so should have what i need there??

powder recommendations would also be helpfull..

I load it.

85 gr sierra SP over 10 gr 2400. Starline brass and CCI450s

I shoot a tt33 clone.


Bullets for the .30 mauser are OK, bullets for .32 ACP are also OK. Data will call for a .308" dia pistol bullet, .32ACP projectiles will run .311-.313, but would be ideal for most European commbloc weaponry, as most of them will have larger .30 cal bores. My tok has a .310 bore, but it shoots the .308 dia sierra SPs just fine.

I have never considered reloading it since I have bunches and bunches of surplus ammo. I very rarely shoot my CZ-52 so reloading for it does not make a lot of sense for me.

thanks JLA..it was a conservation with you about this caliber that made me willing to take it in a trade. I will need to get some 2400 powder and will look up the sierra 85 gn bullets.

I would be in the same position if I had run across this pistol 6 months ago! but like most ammo it seems to be on the non-existant list! I cant even scrounge up 50 rounds to see how this pistol shoots!!
