I have a whole lot of different 7mm Sierra projectils i want to try in my 7x64 Brenneke.

I was hoping some one might have a Sierra reloading manual with 7x64 recipes

Any help be greatly apprecaiated.

This cartridge is an almost exact duplicate of the .280 Remington cartridge. Starting load data for the .280 can be used, and work your way up. Powders that are in the slower burn range would be best in a case with capacity. Hodgons H4831, H4350, H414 and H1000. IMR powders like 4831, 4350, and maybe powders as fast as 4895, 4320, 4064, and 3031 would give good results also. WW760 would also be a great choice.

Hello,

Stumbled across your 7x64mm post. I have CZ550 7x64mm that I load for. What model rifle do you have? My CZ has a very long throat as you can see by the OAL's. The reason I didnt post the particular load weights even though none are max loads. If you want them PM me.

The bolded are my hunting loads. As someone mentioned before, Ken Waters has a great 7x64 article. PM me and I'll scan it for you. Newest load I worked up was the Reloader 17 load. Great powder BTW.

Bullet Powder OAL Velocity
150 Nosler BT IMR4350 3.34 2874 .49" group
160 Speer SP IMR 4831 3.35 2750
175 Sierra BT IMR4350 3.38 2640
175 Sierra BT H414 3.35 2650
160 Speer SP RL 17 3.36 2826 .45" group
150 WIN PP IMR4350 3.30 2779

Anyway off to update me profile.
