Well, if I can get em in a flat rate box, you're damn sure paying that shipping!
How, for the love of buttered popcorn, did my OP on a Chilean Mauser morph into strippers and porno?
Not that there is anything wrong with that, but the chain of comments leading to it's current state is remarkable for its ingenuity.
ANY post can morph into strippers and porn, given time.
You joke, but I actually did that...FOR A BANK!!! ( )
Is there a Lumpy Rate.....never mind.
Patches, my apologies for the thread drift. I blame lockdown boredom, and howlnmad's bad influence. Wouldn't have worked anyhow, once those strippers see ya coming with a large flat rate box, there's just no catching them.
Back to that Mauser, figure out what model it is, and are you going to buy it?
Of late there's a lot of boredom and bad influence being spread around!!
Yes and its terrible and ........ I love it.
Me too....it's keeping my all too fertile and curious mind occupied!!!!
Severe cases of cabin fever.
Talking about those South American mausers (Chile and Argentina ) brings back memory of the early 1960's. I was assigned to the Pentagon and just getting into guns. I hung out a lot at Ye Olde Hunter in Alexandria, VA. He was importing those things by the boat load. He stacked them in barrels all over the place and sold them for $9.95 each.......... If I had only had disposal income back then as he also had 1911's for $26.00............ Ah, the old days!
Getting back to the 7mm Chilean Mauser , pics would be nice.
The 7mm, right. If Trap sends you strippers you'll be clipped for sure.
Hey Empty_Holster; Oh my yes, I made many trips to a gun store in Alexandria, can't recall it's name, down by the Potomac River and in the area of the old Torpedo Factory. That was an interesting place and something more we have in common. Actually my wife and I honeymooned in Alexandria during the Carter administration gas crunch. I digress.....
As for the Mauser; folks I am going to pass on this item and use the money to buy ammo here in PA before this rat-bastard, socialist inspired governor we have requires PA residents to have a license to purchase ammunition.
The international arms dealer was INTERARMS CO. The local shop was YE OLDE HUNTER -both at the end of Prince St, Alexandria (201 if my memory is still alive).
