Decided to try a test item on AA to see if they got any better. Put up a NIB Kel-Tec starting at $210 incl shipping... Very, very few hits, but one bid so I thought OK, not too shabby.

BUT, now I get an email from the bidder: "I live in New York so I cant buy a Kel-Tec. Do you have anything else I can buy?"

    Crap.

Why just a restriction on a Kel-Tec? Seems if he remembered he couldn't own a Kel-Tec, he probably can't own any of the other stuff he is inquiring into. Think someone is merely pulling your chain, Doc.

He's saying since Kel-Tec doesn't "conform" to NY law and send two spent shell casings with the pistol, that his dealer would have to make an 8-hr round trip to some State Police facility to have the pistol fired.

    I say again... crap.

    Unfortunately,

Under the new "New York" law, anyone who sells
a "NEW" handgun to ANYONE in N.Y., the receiving
N.Y. dealer is to fire the weapon and supply the N.Y.
State Police with 2-spent cartridges from the said
weapon BEFORE it can be sold to ANYONE in that
    state.

    Now,

If the handgun is a used handgun but looks new
then the dealer does not have to jump through
    these hoops.
