I'm in the process of thinning out my small bayonet and accouterment collection and I came across this bayonet frog. Before I list it I would like to get some opinions on whether this is original or a repro. The back is worn enough that I can just make out the date but not the round circular logo also.
It is very heavy canvas. What do you think?

Never mind, I found it myself. It is not an Afrika Corp frog, but I still don't know what it is.

I found it! I found it! Its a British frog for the Pattern 1907 Bayonet. What threw me was the "GEW" on the back, which I thought stood for Gewahr and made me think it was German. Well, we all make mistakes.

Interesting none the less. I've collected, sold & traded military relics for years. And never recall seeing one.
